In short: The Mercedes GLC with EQ Technology comes in three versions: GLC 250 from €64,736, GLC 300 4MATIC from €68,306 and GLC 400 4MATIC from €71,281. WLTP range reaches up to 715 km. It charges at up to 330 kW, from 10 to 80% in about 22 minutes. According to Mercedes, it is the most-ordered EV in the company's history. It is built in Bremen.
Why it matters
The GLC has long been Mercedes' best-selling model. The electric version brings this core model into the EV era. It simply keeps the GLC name instead of a separate EQ label, and the combustion GLC remains on sale alongside it.

Optional AIRMATIC air suspension and 4.5-degree rear-axle steering cut the turning circle from 12.1 to 11.2 metres. Private leasing started at €520 per month for the GLC 250 in June 2026.

GLC vs BMW iX3
The BMW iX3 50 xDrive offers more range on paper (up to 806 km) and faster peak charging (400 kW) at a similar price (€70,900). The GLC counters with higher towing capacity, a larger frunk and the Hyperscreen. Read our BMW i3 and iX3 guide.
