In short: Google unveiled the Pixel 11 series on 12 August 2026 and it went on sale on 20 August. There are four models: Pixel 11 (from €999 / $899), Pixel 11 Pro (from €1,199 / $1,099), Pixel 11 Pro XL (from €1,399 / $1,299) and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold (from €1,999). All use the new Tensor G6, start at 256 GB and get seven years of updates.
What's new
- Tensor G6: according to Google about 25% faster web browsing, 15% faster app launches and 50% more AI (TPU) performance.
- Titan M3 security chip and a post-quantum secure boot.
- 256 GB base storage, twice as much as before.
- Qi 2.2 magnetic wireless charging at up to 25 W.
- Camera: up to 30x Super Res Zoom on the Pixel 11 and up to 120x Pro Res Zoom on the Pro models, plus new HiLight LEDs for low-light video and portraits. Very high zoom levels are partly reconstructed by AI.

Software
All models run Android 17 with deep Gemini integration; many AI features run on the device. Seven years of updates mean support until around 2033.
Buying tips
- Storage: 256 GB is enough for most people; there is no memory card slot, so heavy 4K video users should buy more.
- Charger: none in the box. Use a USB-C Power Delivery charger or a Qi 2.2 pad.
- Case: the glass back is fragile; a case with a magnetic ring keeps Qi 2.2 alignment working.
- Switching: photos, contacts and chats can be moved from Android or iPhone during setup.
Against the competition
The main rivals are Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Samsung's Galaxy S series. The Pixel stands out for its long update promise, its software-driven camera and tight Gemini integration.
Who should buy?
The Pixel 11 suits anyone who wants a long-supported Android phone; the Pro models are for zoom fans; the Pro Fold competes with the Galaxy Z Fold8. Owners of a Pixel 9 or 10 can safely wait. More in our Google Pixel section.
